Hi friends!
Rather than bring you a profile feature on a bitcoiner, a person in search of financial freedom, or a lesson this week, I wanted to shake things up a bit. I asked 10 beloved and exceptional bitcoiners to answer the question: “What is Bitcoin? And what does it mean for you?”
These questions are great because they give us a glimpse into their minds and explains how they view the world, understand money, and even illustrates the goodwill of bitcoin.
As an example, do they see bitcoin as a hedge against inflation? As a tool to counter financial embargoes? Or as a measure of hope in a despairing world? The answers are nothing short of fascinating.
Here’s how 10 bitcoiners — from developers to activists and authors —answer the question: “what is Bitcoin and what does it mean for you?”
Max Keiser – Host of “Orange Pill Podcast,” Broadcaster, Filmmaker
“Bitcoin is the separation of state and money. It’s the first time money can work 100% in the service of people without any interference from a central authority. This is made possible by the fact that Bitcoin is unimpeachably, absolutely scarce and decentralized.”
Natalie Brunell – Journalist, Host of “Coin Stories” Podcast & “Hard Money Show,” Educator
“Bitcoin is ethical money decoupled from a corrupt system of bureaucrats. It represents a Renaissance for the American Dream, and hope for billions of people around the world.”
Robert Breedlove – Host of the “What is Money?” Show
“Bitcoin is truth in a world drowning in political bullshit. Bitcoin is hope amid the despair of inflation and other forms of theft. Bitcoin always does exactly what it says it will do. 21 million bitcoin is certainty for uncertain times.”
Farida Bemba Nabourema – Togolese Human Rights Activist, Writer
“Bitcoin is a philosophy: that of building a society in which people are freed from the financial systems established for centuries by the most powerful of this world, which allow them to manipulate the value of currencies in their favor and to become endlessly rich when everybody else gets poorer.
Bitcoin is above all a philosophy of liberation. Then, Bitcoin is a tool to counter the financial embargoes wrongly imposed on peoples by autocratic regimes or by imperialist and militarist institutions to prevent them from freeing themselves from their yoke as whoever controls your money, owns your destiny.”
Jon Atack – Bitcoin Developer
“I'm deeply concerned about human freedom, decentralization of power, individual empowerment, privacy and self-sovereignty. I think Bitcoin plays a key part in fighting for these causes; they are more and more needed every day, and are for me what provide the meaning to continue learning and doing a tiny part to bring this forward in the world. Onward! Let's ship the future faster than they can ban it.”
Andi Pitt – Co-Founder of Ego Death Capital
"Bitcoin is admitting the system we live in is flawed. That ‘democracy’ in its current format is no democracy at all but a system of power, of deception, of oppression, built on the control of money.
Bitcoin is about breaking down the barriers of the Nation State which have kept us divided and disempowered for far too long. It's about bringing people together in a world which seeks to drive us apart.
Bitcoin is hope. Bitcoin is freedom. Bitcoin is the knowing that a better world is possible."
Painting Bitcoin – Painter
“Satoshi was the historic, shadowy, faceless super cave artist. Bitcoiners are the future cave artists. Bitcoin is cave art 2.0.”
Nozomi Hayase – Liberation Psychologist, Philosopher, Writer
“Bitcoin is liberation psychology.”
“Bitcoin is freedom - its core feature is censorship-resistant. And it enables free speech. And that’s why it became so popular among people who are oppressed.”

Jesse Berger – Author of “Magic Internet Money”
“Bitcoin is the first domino in a chain reaction the likes of which the world has never experienced. It means unparalleled, uncompromising, unrelenting productivity, at an unprecedented speed and scale. It is a mighty leap forward for humanity. The future looks brighter because Bitcoin is illuminating it.”
Roman Martínez (Chimbera) – Community leader of Bitcoin Beach, Co- Founder of Hope House
“Bitcoin is the most inclusive tool, asset, and technology that humanity has ever had.”
“For the majority of the people, bitcoin is an asset. But in El Salvador it’s a currency and Bitcoin is also a monetary network and it's also like a software. It's a full technology. But how we benefit from Bitcoin as a country is we're using Bitcoin as a monetary network.”

I did other places, and will on Twitter too.
I just tried to share this on Twitter. I'm getting this error: “You are over the daily limit for sending Tweets.” That is laughable. I am not even close to a heavy Twitter poster. Something is wrong.
